Capture the Intangible

recommended this book. The Elegant Solution: Toyota's Formula for Mastering Innovation.

I downloaded the manifesto and bumped into this paragraph. It blown me away.

"Lexus doesn’t sell luxury transportation, it sells safe sanctuary and quiet escape. Disney doesn’t operate theme parks, it sells magic and fantasy. Harley-Davidson sells the ability for a 43-year old accountant to dress in all black leather, ride through small towns and have people be afraid of him. And Starbucks doesn’t sell coffee, it offers personal expression and daily ritual."

Anyone has read this book before?

After reading the book, can we say something about EI, 'EI team doesn't integrate systems, it offers...'

This book reveals some good practical guides especially in the tactical aspect. So EI team doesn't integrate systems, it offers dynamic and interpersonal relationship.

Geez, you guys are really serious when it comes to readin huh? Looks like I have to pick up a few of these Megatreands-type and leadership-thingy books to keep up.

I'm normally more casual in my reading and have just finished a strange, freakish book called Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman.
